Fieldwork group 4

Group 4 began their lesson with a direct instruction lesson. The teachers introduced themselves. They introduced the game where they had to collect gold.The students were given green, yellow, and red cards to check for understanding.They transitioned through a word art. The teachers then started the direct instruction.The students had a flip notebook to take their notes as they went along.They had stop and review sections during the lesson to make sure they understand. They then continued with the lesson and then showed a video. They then played a vocabulary game.They have to use a fly swatter to hit the right term that matches the definition.They were given a matching column for the independent practice. During the next lesson the teachers taught an inquiry-based lesson. They reintroduced themselves and went over the rules and gold game. They then introduced a Word art. They’re given worksheets to work on their webquest on a historical figure.The student then shared their information with the whole class.They shared their information with the whole class and talked about how they found their info. They had to write their biographies and were given a checklist to check their work. Finally, on their last day they taught a cooperative-based lesson. They started by reintroducing themselves and going over classroom rules and went over the game. They had a word art with vocabulary from the lesson. They went over what a good group looks and sounds like.Each group is responsible for an event and have to organize a timeline. They have to put pictures on them and caption them and then create a slogan.They gave the students preassigned jobs. The teacher’s guided the students through the process of making their timeline.The students were responsible for their own work.They were evaluating themselves after the presentations.They have to talk to their peers in order to get the work done. The teachers went over the group reflection sheets.The groups presented their work.One group even acted out their timeline.
